Feeling the cool breeze caressing my face
I want to lie in a meadow, on a beautiful summer morning,
With you by my side,
Feeling the warmth of the morning sunshine,
Listening to your soft heartbeat, and
Dreaming thousands of dreams
I want to talk with you over a cup of coffee
Without reservations,
Without being judged,
About dreams, about passion, and about life
I want to look into your eyes,
Watch them spark with joy when you see me,
When I embrace you in a loving hug
I want to see your unfeigned smile,
To hear your carefree laughter
Ringing through my ears
Like a delicious melody

Guiding me and
Giving me strength and courage
To reach the heights I could not on my own

Filled with empathy and love,
Kindness and concern

Unabashed by my imperfections,
yet loving their individuality
I want to find a safe haven in your arms,
A sanctuary to turn to,
When the loneliness creeps in,
When the last of my defenses cease
I want to make a home with you,
an ultimate place to belong to,
ending my wandering journey
being content with a soulmate.
